Senior Account Executive – Consumer, Travel & Hospitality PR (12-month contract) – Central London

The agency

An independent, award-winning agency in Central London, working across PR, social and influencer. The team is mid-sized and the client list is full of brands people know and love in lifestyle, travel and hospitality. It's big enough for variety and small enough that your work gets noticed.

The role

This is a full-time, 12-month contract covering maternity leave. There's scope for it to become permanent, depending on how the business and client work develop. You'll look after a mix of consumer, travel and hospitality accounts, including a destination tourism board, holiday parks, restaurant groups and an automotive brand. Around 70% of the job is media relations and 30% is influencer work. They're hoping for an early December start, but will happily wait out a notice period for the right person.

What you'll do

  • Secure coverage week in, week out: find the news hooks, shape the storylines and pitch features

  • Write press releases, client materials and the first drafts of thought-leadership pieces

  • Build relationships with journalists until you're the go-to contact on your accounts

  • Find, vet and manage creators and influencers, from briefing and content approvals through to end-of-campaign reporting

  • Track coverage and campaign results, and pull together weekly and monthly reports

  • Act as a regular point of contact for clients, and present in client meetings

  • Contribute to brainstorms, planning and new business pitches

What they're looking for

  • At least 18 months' PR experience at an agency, ideally in consumer, lifestyle, travel or hospitality

  • A strong media relations record. You enjoy getting coverage and can show what you've secured

  • A good grasp of influencer marketing, including reporting, metrics and engagement

  • Someone self-motivated who can run with their work without close direction

  • Sharp writing and a careful eye for detail

  • Experience of influencer contracts or negotiation, and destination knowledge, are a bonus but not essential

  • You can be coming from a larger or smaller agency. The key is being comfortable in a mid-sized team

Salary and package

Up to £35,000, depending on experience. Full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract.

Location and working pattern

Central London. Two days a week in the office, three from home.
