Account Executive / Senior Account Executive — Consumer Tech & Lifestyle PR | London

The agency

An international creative comms agency with a busy London team. They work across consumer tech, B2B tech and gaming, bringing PR, social, influencer and content together into joined-up campaigns for global brands and challengers alike. A lot of the consumer tech work sits firmly in lifestyle: hair tools, shavers, massage guns, robot vacuums and other things people use every day.

The role

They're looking for an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive with around 12 to 18 months' agency experience. You'll already be doing the job somewhere and want more responsibility in a team that gives it to you. You don't need a tech background. A consumer lifestyle background is just as welcome, and often more useful.

What you'll do

  • Secure coverage for consumer tech and lifestyle brands across national, women's, beauty and lifestyle media

  • Spot stories and angles that make a product relevant to a consumer audience

  • Write press releases, pitches, product copy and media materials

  • Build your own journalist relationships, particularly in women's and beauty titles

  • Support media events, product launches and consumer pop-ups

  • Handle media monitoring, coverage reporting and day-to-day account admin

  • Contribute ideas to brainstorms and new business pitches

What they're looking for

  • Around 12 to 18 months' PR agency experience. Not your first role, but early in your career.

  • Consumer media relations experience, ideally with contacts in women's, beauty or lifestyle titles

  • A good eye for a story and clear, confident writing

  • An interest in consumer events, pop-ups and brand experiences

  • Someone hard-working and grounded, who's good with people and comfortable in a client meeting

  • A consumer lifestyle PR background is a real plus

Salary and package

  • £25,000 to £32,000, depending on experience

  • A good benefits package, with full details on request

Location and working pattern

Full-time. Central London, three days a week in the office: Mondays and Wednesdays, plus one day of your choice.
