SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE / ACCOUNT MANAGER / SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER — B2B TECH PR — WEST LONDON
The Opportunity
A small, fast-moving B2B tech PR and marketing team in West London is hiring across three levels — Senior Account Executive, Account Manager and Senior Account Manager.
They deliver national opportunities for clients every single week, and they’ve spent the last year building AI workflows that take the grind out of the job: no more manual spreadsheet reporting, faster and broader competitor research, and global media stories spotted the moment they land. They’re also genuinely ahead on AI search — how PR and content shape the way brands show up in AI-generated answers, and what actually moves the needle.
The point of all that is simple. It frees the team up to do the things people are still better at than machines: building real relationships with clients and journalists, thinking strategically, and telling stories that land.
If you want to be at the front of where B2B tech PR is heading rather than reading about it, this is a good one.
What You’ll Be Doing
Senior Account Executive — £30,000–£35,000
• Own the day-to-day running of your accounts — media relations, sell-ins, coverage tracking and reporting
• Build your own journalist relationships in B2B tech and get comfortable pitching in your own right
• Write news releases, comment, blogs and social copy that need light editing, not rewriting
• Use AI-assisted research and media list tools so your time goes on creative targeting, not admin
• Get a real grounding in client sectors, technologies and competitors — and start spotting media hooks yourself
• Support AMs and SAMs on planning and reporting, and step up on client calls as your confidence grows
Account Manager — £40,000–£50,000
• Act as a key day-to-day client contact — managing communication, setting expectations and making recommendations that improve campaign performance
• Lead client meetings, status updates and reporting, staying proactive rather than reactive
• Keep delivery tightly aligned to agreed objectives, SOWs and timelines
• Cultivate strong, authentic media relationships that produce consistent, high-impact coverage
• Oversee PR and marketing execution across channels, reviewing and sharpening written content
• Develop deep sector knowledge and use AI trend tools to spot media opportunities early
• Contribute to campaign planning and integrated PR and marketing strategy
• Keep clear visibility over account scope and budgets, and spot opportunities to grow accounts
• Manage and mentor junior team members — delegating well and coaching them on core PR skills and tech-enabled ways of working
Senior Account Manager — £50,000+
• Act as the senior day-to-day lead, building deep, trusted relationships with C-suite and senior client stakeholders
• Provide proactive strategic counsel tied to client business objectives — anticipating challenges and shaping direction
• Lead the development and delivery of integrated, high-impact PR and marketing programmes
• Direct media and narrative strategy, combining traditional media relations with AI search visibility tactics
• Oversee content, making sure messaging is sharp, authoritative and pitched right for executive audiences
• Maintain expert knowledge of client sectors, tech trends and competitors, using AI tools to track news agendas in real time
• Lead creative strategy and narrative development, bringing bold integrated ideas to the table
• Take full ownership of account health — revenue, profitability, SOW management and resource forecasting
• Drive organic growth through up-selling and cross-selling, and play an active part in new business pitches
• Lead, mentor and lift Account Managers and junior staff across the team
What They’re Looking For
Across all three levels
• B2B tech PR experience, agency-side — SaaS, enterprise tech, fintech, cyber, deep tech or similar
• Someone credible on technology who can package complex ideas for very different audiences
• Media savvy, with the scars and the stories to prove it
• Calm and capable when clients move the goalposts or a reputational issue lands
• Genuinely up for the world where AI search and traditional PR blend — curious, not sceptical
• A leader rather than a follower, at whatever level you’re coming in at
• A straightforward commute to West London, four days a week
By level
• SAE: around 24 months’ agency PR experience, ideally B2B or tech. You’ve secured your own coverage, you write well, and you’re ready to take more ownership
• AM: proven experience running accounts day to day and a track record of consistent, high-quality media wins. Ready to move from execution into true account ownership, including mentoring juniors
• SAM: solid AM-level experience with real autonomy, strong senior client relationships, commercial ownership of accounts, and a track record of major media wins plus the contacts behind them
What’s on Offer
• Salary of £30,000–£35,000 (SAE), £40,000–£50,000 (AM) or £50,000+ (SAM), depending on level and experience
• Four days a week in the West London office, Fridays working from home — worth being honest with yourself about the commute before applying
• A small team where your work is visible and your ideas actually get used
• Proper investment in AI-enabled workflows, so less of your week goes on reporting and list-building
• A front-row seat on AI search and PR — an area most agencies are still talking about rather than doing
• National coverage opportunities landing every week, not once a quarter
• Clear progression, and mentoring built into the AM and SAM roles rather than bolted on
