PR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - CREATIVE CORPORATE COMMS

A boutique PR and communications agency, working with ambitious founder-led businesses, is looking for an energetic Account Executive to join their growing team. This is an exciting chance to get stuck in with a fast-paced agency that’s scaling quickly and making a real impact for clients across wellness, fitness, digital marketing, and more.

What’s the role?

The Account Executive will split their time between client delivery (about 70%) and supporting new business and agency operations (about 30%). Expect plenty of media pitching, content creation, journalist outreach, and day-to-day account management. You’ll also help with new business research, pitch decks, and growing the agency’s own profile.

 Key responsibilities include:

- Proactively pitching stories to national, trade, and broadcast media—phone and email

- Writing press releases, op-eds, and briefing notes with a sharp news sense

- Managing media lists, reports, meeting follow-ups, and timelines to keep things on track

- Monitoring news for client mentions and spotting opportunities to jump into breaking stories

- Supporting new business—researching prospects, helping with outreach, and building pitch decks

- Contributing ideas for agency growth and helping refine internal processes

- Getting involved in social media content and agency PR

 What’s needed?

- Experience in a PR agency or in-house comms role

- Resilience and a positive attitude—comfortable with rejection and quick turnarounds

- Strong news sense and a real interest in media

- Top-notch writing skills and attention to detail

- Ability to juggle multiple accounts and switch gears fast

- Familiarity with LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and office software

- Entrepreneurial mindset—keen to learn how agencies grow and retain clients

 Nice to have:

- Experience in a fast-growing team

- Confidence managing up and making things happen

Salary: Up to £27,000 + commission
