ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR - CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS (GENERALIST)

An award-winning communications consultancy is seeking an Associate Director specialising in Corporate Communications to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a passion for driving impactful communication strategies across diverse clients. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Advise clients confidentially to deliver measurable results, ensuring strategic alignment and brand integrity. 

  • Develop compelling content that turns complex ideas into clear, concise communications with minimal input from senior colleagues. 

  • Lead client presentations, demonstrating the ability to influence discussions and push back when necessary. 

  • Monitor and analyse emerging trends and topics relevant to client interests. 

  • Direct teams to ensure efficient execution of campaigns and smooth daily operations. 

  • Foster a collaborative team environment where every voice is respected and valued. 

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business and communications strategy. 

  • Develop annual communications plans in collaboration with senior leadership. 

  • Coach and mentor junior team members, providing constructive feedback to enhance their professional growth. 

  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and showcase the wider service offerings. 

Essential Skills and Experience: 

  • Minimum of grade A-C in English at GCSE level or equivalent. 

  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced PR environment. 

  • Experience in developing impactful integrated communications campaigns tailored to various sectors. 

  • Strong client advisory skills, demonstrating the ability to persuade when necessary. 

  • Proven media handling and stakeholder engagement capabilities. 

  • Genuine interest in business, current affairs, and the media landscape. 

  • Strong writing and presentation skills. 

Salary: £68,000 - £75,000 per annum 

Working Arrangements: Hybrid working model with a flexible balance of office and remote work.
