ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR - CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS (TELECOMS & INFRASTRUCTURE)

A leading communications consultancy is searching for an Associate Director to lead their Corporate Communications efforts within the Telecoms and Infrastructure sectors. This role presents a unique opportunity to shape communication strategies for key industry players and influence public perception through innovative campaigns. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide confidential strategic advice to clients, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and communication goals. 

  • Craft well-structured, engaging content that simplifies intricate concepts and resonates with target audiences. 

  • Take a leading role in client presentations, effectively influencing stakeholders and providing calculated insights. 

  • Identify, monitor, and analyze key trends within the telecoms and infrastructure landscape to inform client strategies. 

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of client accounts, ensuring seamless delivery and execution of communication initiatives. 

  • Create a high-performing team culture that encourages collaboration and values diverse perspectives. 

  • Showcase understanding of the telecoms and infrastructure sectors to develop tailored communications strategies. 

  • Collaborate with senior leadership in the formulation of annual communication strategies for clients. 

  • Coach junior talent, fostering their growth and enhancing overall team performance. 

  • Pursue opportunities to deepen client relationships and promote the consultancy's broader offerings. 

Essential Skills and Experience: 

  • Minimum of grade A-C in English at GCSE level or equivalent. 

  • Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced PR and communications environment. 

  • Proven ability to develop and execute integrated communication strategies in the telecoms and infrastructure sectors. 

  • Strong client advisory and persuasion capabilities, alongside robust media and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Keen interest in industry developments and the media landscape. 

  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills. 

Salary: £68,000 - £75,000 per annum 

Working Arrangements: Hybrid working model that includes flexibility for remote work.
