PR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - B2B TECH - STAFFORDSHIRE OR WEST SUSSEX - HYBRID

An award-winning, PR-led B2B technology communications agency is hiring a PR Account Executive to support PR programmes for clients in highly technical markets, including electronics components, engineering, semiconductors, embedded systems and industrial technology.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of opportunity to build your skills in trade media relations and technical content, working closely with experienced Account Managers and senior team members.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting day-to-day account activity (status updates, action lists, delivery against plans)

  • Drafting and editing PR content: press releases, news stories, by-lines, case studies, Q&As and commentary

  • Building media lists across UK/EU/global electronics and engineering trade media

  • Supporting proactive media relations: pitching, handling journalist requests, tracking opportunities

  • Turning technical information into clear, accurate and engaging copy

  • Monitoring coverage and supporting reporting/insight

  • Coordinating timelines and deliverables across multiple accounts

  • Collaborating with digital/content/creative teams on integrated campaigns

What we’re looking for

  • Some experience in PR/communications/marketing (agency experience helpful, not essential)

  • Genuine interest in technology/engineering/electronics and willingness to learn quickly

  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail

  • Organised, proactive and comfortable juggling deadlines

  • Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships

  • UK-based and able to work hybrid in the Staffordshire or West Sussex offices
