Account Manager — The Role
You’re the engine room: the bridge between senior strategy and ground-level execution. You own day-to-day account delivery, lead consultants and act as the quality gatekeeper for everything that goes to clients.
• 3–5 years of B2B tech PR agency experience (telecoms, cyber, SaaS, enterprise tech)
• Own day-to-day client management, WIPs and campaign delivery
• Quality control: review and approve all pitches, press releases and reports before they go out
• Lead, brief and develop a team of Senior Consultants and Consultants
• Monitor account profitability and flag over-servicing early
• Spot opportunities to integrate digital, content and creative into PR campaigns
• Elite organisational skills — multiple workstreams, competing deadlines, direct reports
• Salary: £38,000–£46,000 DOE plus 5% performance bonus
Senior Account Manager — The Role
You’re looking at the horizon, not just the task list. You architect the 12-month strategy, lead QBRs, navigate complex client challenges and drive organic account growth.
• 4–6 years of B2B tech PR agency experience (enterprise SaaS, cyber, deep tech)
• Architect comprehensive 12-month PR strategies tied to client commercial objectives
• Lead and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews independently
• First line of counsel during media crises, issues and major strategic shifts
• Formally line-manage Account Managers and Consultants
• Drive organic growth — identify and pitch integrated content, digital and creative opportunities
• Expert stakeholder management — confident handling C-suite clients and challenging situations
• Salary: £47,000–£54,000 DOE plus 5% performance bonus
