ACCOUNT MANAGER – B2B PR | MANCHESTER

The role

A well-established B2B communications agency is looking for an Account Manager to join their growing team. Working across a diverse portfolio of clients in tech, sustainability, aviation and manufacturing, you’ll take day-to-day ownership of account success and play an active role in new business activity.

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Account Executive ready to step up, or an Account Manager looking to own a client portfolio in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

What you’ll be doing

•      Managing a portfolio of B2B clients and leading on day-to-day account activity

•      Developing and implementing strategic and tactical communications plans

•      Building and maintaining strong relationships with sector journalists and influencers

•      Producing high-quality written content across multiple formats and channels

•      Briefing and managing third-party suppliers and partners

•      Keeping clients informed on performance through status reports, reviews and catch-ups

•      Supporting and developing junior team members

•      Contributing to new business pitches and credentials presentations

What you’ll need

•      Minimum 18–24 months’ PR agency experience at Senior Account Executive level or above — essential

•      Strong B2B credentials; experience across both traditional and digital media campaigns

•      Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style across sectors

•      Confident managing multiple accounts simultaneously and delegating to junior team members

•      Comfortable presenting to clients and contributing to new business pitches

•      Happy with hybrid working and occasional travel between offices

What’s on offer

•      £30,000–£38,000 depending on experience

•      23 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising after year one)
