ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE & SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - CONSUMER + TRADE

The Opportunity

We are working with a respected independent London PR agency to find a talented communicator for their growing food and drink team — an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive.

The agency works across an exciting portfolio of consumer brands, delivering standout campaigns across media, influencer and trade channels. It is a close-knit, collaborative team with a brilliant culture and a strong reputation in the consumer and trade PR space.

Whether you are earlier in your career and ready to throw yourself into it, or a couple of years in and looking for a step up, there could be a role here for you.

What You'll Be Doing

The role will focus mainly on food and drink clients. Core responsibilities include:

•       Managing day-to-day media relations across a food and drink client portfolio

•       Writing press releases, pitches and content for consumer and trade press

•       Working on influencer outreach and content campaigns

•       Building and nurturing relationships with journalists, editors and media contacts

•       Contributing to campaign ideation, client meetings and reporting

At Senior Account Executive level, you will also be expected to:

•       Take greater ownership of client accounts and day-to-day activity

•       Lead on campaign strategy and contribute to new business

•       Support and mentor junior team members

What They're Looking For

Account Executive — around 12 months' agency PR experience

•       Solid media relations and writing foundations

•       Some exposure to influencer content and campaigns

•       Consumer and/or trade PR background

•       Confident, enthusiastic and ready to hit the ground running

•       Genuine interest in food, drink or lifestyle brands

Senior Account Executive — around 2 years' agency PR experience

•       Strong media relations skills and high-quality writing ability

•       Proven influencer content and engagement experience

•       Consumer and/or trade PR background essential

•       Able to work independently and support junior colleagues

•       Confident, proactive and comfortable taking initiative
