SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - TRAVEL + TOURISM

We’re working with a leading travel and lifestyle PR and marketing communications agency based in Central London. They’re known for a friendly, supportive culture and a genuinely collaborative approach to their people.

They’re looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive with a solid background in travel and tourism PR (luxury experience is a bonus) to join the team.

The role

You’ll work across a mix of UK and international travel clients, helping to deliver standout coverage, memorable press trips and day-to-day PR activity that moves the needle for travel brands.

Key parts of the role include:

Media relations

- Building strong relationships with travel, lifestyle, consumer and trade media 

- Securing quality coverage across print, online, broadcast and social 

- Proactively pitching timely, creative story angles aligned to client goals and industry trends 

Press trip management

- Leading the planning, coordination and delivery of press trips and media visits 

- Handling logistics: itineraries, travel arrangements, on-the-ground support and follow-up 

- Liaising with media, tourism boards, hotels and partners to ensure everything runs smoothly 

Account management

- Supporting day-to-day activity across multiple travel clients 

- Drafting and distributing press releases, media alerts, briefing docs and fact sheets 

- Preparing client-ready reports, agendas, coverage summaries and presentations 

- Monitoring media coverage, tracking results and spotting new opportunities 

Strategy, content & events

- Contributing ideas to campaign strategies, creative tactics and seasonal initiatives 

- Developing story angles and messaging that bring travel brands to life 

- Assisting with social content outlines, influencer briefs and editorial planning 

- Supporting media events, launches and brand partnerships – from planning to on-site coordination 

Client relationships

- Maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients 

- Providing proactive updates, ideas and solutions 

- Joining regular client calls and meetings to present activity and insights 

About you

You’ll likely have:

- 3+ years’ PR experience (agency or in-house) in travel, tourism or hospitality 

- A track record of pitching and securing media coverage

- Hands-on experience organising and delivering press trips

- Strong writing, communication and presentation skills 

- Excellent organisational ability and confidence juggling multiple projects 

- A collaborative mindset – happy working independently and as part of a close-knit team

Salary - £30,000 - £32,000
