PR CONSULTANT (SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE / ACCOUNT MANAGER)

THE OPPORTUNITY

A specialist tech and venture capital PR agency with a strong presence across the UK, Europe and the US is looking for a media-driven PR professional to join at either Senior Account Executive or Account Manager level. The work is project-led and fast-paced — clients range from category-defining startups to elite VC funds, and the team thrives on turning complex ideas into compelling, tier-one coverage.

It's a flat structure with genuine autonomy. If you want to work on stories that actually matter — AI, spacetech, quantum computing, climate — and you're happiest when you're close to the work rather than managing from a distance, this one's worth a conversation.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Delivering high-impact PR campaigns across a diverse, project-driven portfolio of tech and VC clients

  • Generating tier-one media coverage in national broadsheets, financial press and global business media

  • Managing active press offices and building strong, trusted journalist relationships

  • Working directly with founders and investors to shape narratives and identify strategic media opportunities

  • Collaborating closely with senior directors and editors — this is a hands-on role, not a management one

WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven PR experience in a tech agency, specifically working with startups or VC-backed companies

  • A strong track record of securing high-quality, top-tier media coverage — the storytelling instinct matters as much as the contacts

  • Social media fluency, particularly LinkedIn — comfortable building thought leadership and amplifying coverage

  • Comfortable in a flat hierarchy without a management layer — you get on with it, take ownership, and don't need hand-holding

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Organised, proactive and confident juggling multiple projects at pace

  • A genuine interest in media, business and technology — especially AI, spacetech, climate and quantum computing
