EXECUTIVE CREATIVE DIRECTOR

THE ROLE

This is the most senior creative position at a fast-moving, 100-strong earned media and PR agency based in London. If you want real creative authority — not just a senior title — this is it.

The Executive Creative Director owns the creative output of the business. You'll set the direction, raise the bar, and make sure everything leaving the door is bold, social-first and genuinely brilliant.

This is not a role buried in briefs. It's about direction, standards and delivery — not day-to-day execution.

You'll sit on the operating board alongside the MD and Ops Director, leading four creative team leads across new business and key brand client areas.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

•  Creative direction across the whole agency — you set the standard

•  Final sign-off on all creative output

•  Shifting the agency from PR-first thinking to social-first instincts

•  Clear, inspiring creative leadership for four pod leads

•  Helping the business win bigger, braver brand clients

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT

•  Day-to-day campaign execution

•  Project management or resource scheduling

•  An advisory or ideas-only position

Execution sits with your team leads — your job is to direct, inspire and deliver.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You're a senior creative leader who thinks social-first instinctively. You know how to raise standards without slowing teams down, and you're confident making decisions and standing by them.

You don't need decades in role. You do need:

•  10+ years across PR, earned media, or creative industries (B2C preferred)

•  Strong understanding of social platforms, digital storytelling and video

•  The ability to shift creative direction fast and take people with you

•   Big ideas — and the follow-through to make sure they actually happen

•   Commercial instincts alongside creative ambition

An understanding of AI's impact on creativity is a bonus — social expertise is the real priority.
