ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR - CORPORATE COMMS - FINANCIAL SERVICES
An independent, agile strategic communications consultancy is looking for an Associate Director to lead corporate communications programmes across financial services, with a particular focus on alternative assets and asset & wealth management.
This is a senior role for someone who enjoys advising at the top table, leading teams, and delivering high-quality, insight-led communications that make a measurable impact.
The role
The Associate Director will:
Devise and oversee strategic, high-impact communications programmes for financial services clients
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and act as a go-to advisor
Lead and develop a team, ensuring work is delivered to a consistently high standard
Support wider business development activity within financial services
Build and maintain a strong network of media and stakeholder contacts
What they’re looking for
Proven experience in financial services communications (private equity, private debt, alternatives, asset management, wealth management or corporate finance desirable)
Strong leadership skills and a collaborative approach to account management
Confident advising on issues and crisis and handling sensitive media relations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ideally experience across agency and in-house environments (desirable, not essential)
